Life with our sweet baby girl

The princesses get to know each other.
Michaella is exactly one week old!
Pretty in PINK
Michaella enjoys her swing.
Michaella in a dress for her first time to church.
Here Michaella is recuperating from her night.......she MUST sleep during the day to gather enough energy to remain awake at NIGHT! The sweet dear literally sleeps all day.....no matter what we do with her, she sleeps right through it.....amazing!

AWANA Fair

The AWANA fair is by far the boys' favorite night of AWANA. Scott shoots at the goal.
Joshua creates a cool painting.
Keith Michael takes a shot.

Our First Week with Michaella

Marc enjoying his sister.

We ACTUALLY had TWINS!
A friend of ours makes porcelain dolls. Keith gave me this doll (that she made) when I was expecting Benjamin.
But THIS is our real LIVE china doll!
Scott finished first grade yesterday. Way to go, Scott!
After six days, Benjamin finally decided that he would like to hold his baby sister. This was his first time to hold her.
Last night Michaella was all alone, so Keith Michael went in and started talking to her....very sweet!
Joshua brought Michaella to me this morning when it was time for her to eat.
Michaella's first bath other than in the hospital and sponge baths at home. Thanks for the tub, Amy.....it is perfect!
All cozy and warm after bath time.
Doesn't anyone have CHOCOLATE milk???

The Princess Arrives Home

Grandma made this outfit when I was expecting Joshua 11 years ago. And now, after all these years, we have reason to actually use PINK.
Daddy kissing his princess.
We're all set to go home, after a wonderful hospital stay.

The nurse wheeling me out commented on how this was the first time she had taken a new mom out to the car accompanied by SO many people!
All set for her first car ride.
Welcome HOME, Michaella!

FUN!

Their shirts read: "Michaella's Brother" then underneath that they read 1 of 5, 2 of 5, and on down the line to 5 of 5, depending on birth order.
Yes, baby girl, you WERE/ARE worth the wait. Thanks, Amy, for the fun outfit!
Is that PINK in that picture?????

My sweet husband bought his daughter a birthday card on her true FIRST birthday!

Thank-you, Grammie!

We just received this lovely girly blanket from Keith's Grandma who lovingly made this for Michaella. It's very special to have a blanket from her, especially since she's going on a mere 98 years of age! Thanks, Grandma!

Our DAUGHTER has arrived!

This picture was taken just before we left for the hospital. Thanks, Judi for taking our boys and feeding them dinner! We are so blessed with wonderful friends! We wanted to take this picture as our last family picture with only sons.

Here we are arriving at the hospital (even though we actually walked for about an hour in the neighborhood right outside the hospital before going in and checking in.) It was a gorgeous evening for a walk!
Yep, they call it labor for a very good reason!
I know this looks like I'm rubbing a crystal ball or something, but it helped support me and keep me in an upright position so gravity could help things along. God was gracious and helped me deliver with no epidural.....thanks to the coaching and help from my husband and Mom.

Our first family picuture with all SIX wonderful children! Thanks, Amy, for bringing them to the hospital for us!
Keith with his daughter!
Happy Birthday, Grandma......and Michaella!
