Boating FUN

One of the pilots where Keith works, generously shared his boat with us and took us boating and tubing a few weekends ago.....we had a GREAT time! Thanks, Jeff!

Just a quick explanation on the video below: I don't think I have ever heard Benjamin say the word "yes"....instead he uses the word "sure" anytime he wants something. It's SO cute and sweet. I don't even know where he picked that up!

Day 1 in Washington D.C.

This is the closest we could get to the White House...but it's always a great sight, no matter from what distance!

Lake Barcroft

One of the highlights of our weekend getaway for the boys was swimming in Lake Barcroft. It was especially fun for them (or all of us) since it was so hot. It was very refreshing!
Keith Michael really enjoyed kayaking, and went off on his own for quite a while.
We even had to go BACK to the lake at night time, just so we could swim some MORE!

Changing of the Guard

Day 2 in Washington D.C.

We started our 2nd day in DC at the Arlington Cemetery.

It was SOOOO hot, that we took a break by the Washington Monument to cool off.


Poor Benjamin was exhausted after all our sightseeing in the HEAT. He was so good....now it's time to REST!

Fireworks with family

We were blessed to have my brother and his family with us for the 4th of July. We had a great time together, and enjoyed the fireworks!

While the little ones get front-row seats, the "bigger" boys enjoy a full-fledged wrestling match.

Water slide

Jill's uncle made this incredible water slide that we were able to enjoy while camping. It was a blast! At first, Benjamin would only go with one of us, but after a little bit, he was sliding on his own. On the video clip below, the intention was for Keith to slide up behind Benjamin and give him a push; but Keith got going too fast and had to go over him so as not to hurt him. I thought I was taking a picture, but then realized I was videoing, so was able to capture the moment. We all had a GREAT time.....THANKS to all who made it possible!!!!
