Snapshots of Brazil

Here are a few pictures I took while in Brazil.  I wanted to take some pictures to help us remember how blessed we are.
Living in a country where TRUE poverty truly does not exist, we forget how truly blessed we are.  Just about anywhere you drive in Brazil, you will see real poverty.......often right next to true riches.  It's a country of contrast.
Can any of us even imagine living in a box?  And yet, for so many, this is shelter and home.  Notice the nice apartment buildings in the background.

The "feira"-----or outdoor market.....the best place for fresh fruit and vegetables.
Meat at the market.

A New Phase In Our Lives

Can he be old enough to start learning how to drive????

My husband, always the comedian!

Painting a room.......PINK?????

A pink heart for his daughter.
Many hands make light work.  All the men of the family put much time into getting a room ready for their daughter/sister, who is soon to arrive.

Benjamin enjoyed painting too!

Fun with Family

My niece and her husband Ben came for a visit.....Scott came downstairs yesterday with his hair done just like Ben's.

Coloring Easter Eggs

Keith Michael was a big help in getting things set up for our egg-coloring.  We decided to color Easter eggs early this year, as Keith was scheduled to be away for Easter. However, I'm very happy to say, that he is actually HOME.....this came as a very pleasant and unexpected blessing.  Thank You, God for allowing us to be together for the first time in 3 years on Easter!
Benjamin LOVED coloring his "neggs".
No shirts is a lot easier to deal with than stained shirts later!

Auto Show

Keith likes to take the boys to the auto show each year.  I think they all had a good time.
They had a neat rock climbing wall that they all enjoyed too.

Record snow fall.....20.4 inches reported! FUN!!!!

We had blizzard like conditions for a good part of yesterday......very rare for us.  It was SO pretty!!
Joshua enjoying the large amounts of snow.
Keith spent a good part of his day shoveling snow----for us and our neighbors.  Thanks, Keith!
Keith Michael busy at work.
Scott covered in snow.
Marc in his snow fort.
The bush out back was over burdened with the weight of the snow.....but it was SO pretty!
While his brothers were loving the snow, Benjamin played inside, recovering from a touch of a stomach virus he had through the night.

Lots and LOTS of Boys!

Last week we had the privilege of having the Jennings boys stay with us for several days.  If I didn't feel surrounded by boys before, I surely did then!  It was LOTS of fun!
When it's too rainy to play outside, then just set up a volleyball court indoors.....this was during recess one day.  They had such fun together!
