Open House

Last week we got to go to Joshua's and Scott's open house at school. We saw their classrooms, and they enjoyed showing us around their school.  It was fun.

Michaella at 5 Months

This video was taken at 9:00 P.M. last night.....the time Michaella was born 5 months ago.....and she  SHOULD have been sleeping, but she wanted to be up to celebrate her birth time....celebrate with lots of talking and squealing, rather than sleeping.  She was a RIOT last night.  But of course every time I turned on the video, she would stop her squealing.  Oh well, I tried.

5 Months Old

My baby girl is already FIVE months old....time goes by just way too fast!

Hurricane Left-Overs

Last evening we sat in amazement watching the wind blow (30-40 mph with 50 mph gusts as per the weather channel) and thought how horrible it would be to be in wind up to 3 times that strength.  The wind we got was just left over from hurricane Ike.  We watched trees break right before our eyes.  In the above picture, is a big branch just hanging on our power lines (and it's still there).  We were fortunate to not lose power, but 600,000 others in Ohio were not so fortunate.  Today Keith and the boys have been busy cleaning up our yard....a big mess, for sure!  Church was cancelled last night, and school today....the boys thought that was great!  Life is an adventure!

Kate Comes to Visit

Tid Bits

Can she be old enough for this already???  I asked Keith to please tell me today that our little girl is still little.....it just seems like she is growing up too fast!

She really seemed to enjoy the exersaucer, and just smiled and smiled!

Keith brought home flowers for me the other day, and then put a few in this tiny vase and said that these were for Michaella.  Flowers for his 2 girls.  (In case you are wondering what is in the bottom of that tiny vase....they are air soft pellets that I collect around the house and deposit in there until one of the boys comes and claims them.)

Is fall approaching?  It was actually cool enough for sweaters at yesterday's soccer game.  Here's another sweater made by Grandma.....thank-you, Grandma.....it still fits me!

I do believe that Scott is the brother who gives his sister the most attention.  He loves to hold her and is constantly giving her kisses and touching her.  It's very sweet!  At yesterday's soccer game he really wanted to hold her.
